Jade Carboy is a dual board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in women’s health, hormone optimization, metabolic wellness, and integrative primary care. Known for her thoughtful, highly personalized approach to medicine, she combines evidence-based clinical care with a comprehensive philosophy focused on prevention, longevity, and helping patients feel their best at every stage of life.
Jade earned her nursing degree from Emory University — one of the country’s top-ranked nursing institutions, recognized for its highly selective admissions, academic rigor, and leadership in clinical and global health education. During her undergraduate training, she was selected for a multidisciplinary global health research initiative in Musanze, Rwanda in partnership with the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International. Her work focused on rural healthcare delivery, common disease processes affecting local communities, traditional healing practices, and the relationship between human population health and the health of the neighboring mountain gorilla population within the bordering national park ecosystem.
She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt University through Vanderbilt’s prestigious dual specialty Women’s Health and Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program. Consistently ranked among the nation’s leading graduate nursing programs, Vanderbilt’s dual certification pathway required advanced clinical training across both women’s health and primary care disciplines and prepared her to achieve board certification in both specialties.
Before founding Alpenaura Holistic Health, Jade worked across a wide range of healthcare environments, from high-volume emergency departments to specialty women’s health clinics and integrative wellness practices. These experiences shaped her belief that the best care comes from understanding the full picture of a patient’s health — including hormones, metabolism, nutrition, stress, lifestyle, and long-term wellness goals — rather than treating symptoms in isolation.
She founded Alpenaura Holistic Health with the goal of creating a more thoughtful and comprehensive model of care: one where patients feel heard, supported, educated, and genuinely partnered in their healthcare journey. Her practice blends modern medicine with a strong emphasis on prevention, metabolic health, hormone optimization, and longevity-focused care for both women and men.

Jade believes exceptional healthcare begins with listening. She takes a collaborative and deeply individualized approach to patient care, emphasizing education, transparency, and long-term partnership to help patients better understand their bodies and make informed decisions about their health.
Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, she works closely with each patient to create thoughtful, sustainable treatment plans tailored to their physiology, lifestyle, and personal goals. Her approach combines scientific rigor with warmth, honesty, and a genuine commitment to helping patients feel empowered, confident, and well-supported throughout every stage of care.
Her communication style is candid and warm. She prioritizes honest, thorough discussions, ensuring patients are fully informed to make the best decisions. Dr. Carboy takes pride in setting realistic expectations, offering clear insight into what surgery can and cannot achieve, and focusing on genuine outcomes rather than simply reassuring her patients.
Outside of medicine, Jade is most at home somewhere outdoors — camping, climbing, backcountry snowboarding, gardening, or loading up the dogs for the next adventure. She loves spending time in the mountains, traveling, and reconnecting with the perspective and balance that nature brings.
She also maintains additional licensure in the state of Oregon as a tattoo artist, an extension of her longtime love for painting, creativity, and aesthetics. Whether through medicine, art, movement, or the outdoors, she is deeply drawn to experiences that foster confidence, resilience, self-expression, and connection.
